Monmouth Museum, Monmouth, Wales
The Monmouth Museum is a combination local history museum and the Lord Nelson museum. The two museums were combined in their present location in 1969.
The local history museum celebrates well-known local figures such as Charles Rolls (of Rolls-Royce fame) and King Henry V, the victor of the Battle of Agincourt in 1415.

Exhibits
The Nelson collection at the museum features a fine selection of Lord Nelson memorabilia (including Nelson’s fighting sword) and outrageous forgeries such as Lord Nelson’s glass eye.

Access – Getting There
The museum is located on Priory Street in Monmouth, Wales.
Visitors to the museum may also want to visit nearby Monnow Bridge or the ‘Three Castles‘ (Skenfrith Castle, White Castle, and Grosmont Castle).
Monnow Bridge is just a six-minute walk south of the museum on Monnow Street. Skenfrith Castle is 10 km north on the B4347.
