Devon Libraries
I got the below email 3 times and counting from Devon Libraries. Still it’s a good service!
“Devon Libraries has introduced a new service. From now on, you will receive a first reminder by email if anything on loan to you becomes more than 14 days overdue. This means you will be informed sooner than we can do it by post.
If you would prefer to stick with postal reminders instead (as at present), please contact your local library as soon as possible. Please note that we cannot offer both email and postal reminders.”
A big advantage of choosing email is that we will soon start sending email reminders just before items on loan to you are due for return, to remind you to return or renew them. We know that, with busy lives, many people forget when their items are due back. We hope this new service will be a big customer improvement and help you save money on overdue charges. If, for any reason, you do not wish to be reminded in advance, please contact your local library as soon as possible.
We apologise if you have already received this email.
Devon Libraries consists of 50 public libraries, four mobile libraries and three prison libraries across Devon.
