Little Venice is where the waters from the Grand Union and Regent’s Canals meet and form a scenic pool. There are a number of fashionable cafes and pubs along the waterside.

The visitor to this scenic area can take a boat trip or walk on the towpath as it snakes its way through the heart of west London.

Walks

One recommended walk involves following the canal route northeast for 2.5 miles until you reach Camden where you can see the Lock and the famous markets.

Access – Getting There

Little Venice lies a short walk (11 minutes or so) north of Paddington Station just off Blomfield Road.

Alternatively, the area is a 7-minute walk from Warwick Avenue tube station on the Bakerloo Line.

Buses 6, 46, 187, and 414 run to this station.
