Food & Drink

The Boathouse serves middling food (or on the day we visited), fish and chips, Steak & Ale Pie, scampi, rather stale sandwiches etc but the beer is good. Marco Pierre White’s The Governor was on tap and was excellent.

The Boathouse is located right on the river bank and the outdoor seating is perfect for parents with kids in tow. If the weather is not favourable there are excellent window seats indoors for people watching.
