Bath Rugby Club Recreation Ground

Bath Rugby (aka Bath) is an English professional rugby union club which is based in the city of Bath. The team plays in the Aviva Premiership league, now Gallagher Premiership Rugby for sponsorship reasons.

In the past, the team has experienced a lot of success, having won England’s domestic competition, the Anglo-Welsh Cup, as well as the Heineken Cup and European Challenge Cup. In more recent years, however, results have been more disappointing. The club finished 13th in the 2021-2022 season, for example.

Recreation Ground in Bath

The Bath Rugby Football Club was founded in 1865 and is one of the oldest rugby clubs still in existence. They play at the Recreation Ground (see above and below), also known as the Rec, in the City of Bath.
