It is a quiet seaside hotel, surrounded by 4 acres of beautiful, landscaped garden, including a pool, putting green, tea garden, and a giant chess set.
The rooms are simple but the views make all the difference.
The hotel was built in 1870 as a summer holiday home for the Bishop of Portsmouth, no less.
