Babbacombe Model Village in Torquay opened in 1963 and has been a highlight of many a child’s trip to the south west.

Things To See
There’s a miniature railway station, football stadium, landscaped gardens, Merrivale Castle & Medieval Village and even Stonehenge.
There will be a model Olympic stadium too in time for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Hours: Vary throughout the year with later opening times in summer.
Admission: Presently £11.95 for an adult with special prices of 0.75 discount per person for a group of four or more.
Access: Bus #22 from Paignton bus and train station, Torquay train station, Torquay harbour, Wellswood, Babbacombe, St Marychurch bus stop (for the Model Village) then Teignmouth, Dawlish, Dawlish Warren and back to Paignton.
In summer (March to October) #Hop122 with open-top seats from Paignton Zoo to Paignton seafront, then Paignton Bus Station to Torquay Harbour, Wellswood, St Marychurch for Model Village and back.
