Torquay’s Old Harbour is full of yachts and pleasure boats. There are boats trips to nearby Paignton and Brixham along the coast as well as further afield to Dartmouth in the summer tourist season.

Two piers: Princess Pier and Haldon Pier enclose and shelter Torquay Harbour and both are popular spots for anglers.

Torquay is on the Riviera Line from Exeter St David’s Station. Trains call at Exminster, Starcross, Dawlish, Dawlish Warren, Teignmouth, Newton Abbot, Torquay and then Paignton.
