Cygnet Theatre, Exeter, Devon
The New Theatre Exeter is the home theatre of the Cygnet Theatre founded in 1980 through the association of Monica Shallis (1939−2006), Mary Evans and the Northcott Theater. It is a training theatre for young actors.

The theatre offers a variety of courses
Courses
The drama school offers three-year courses for students over 18 as well as a one-year foundation course. The theatre takes plays on tour around the country including to the Edinburgh Festival and London. It performs around six productions a year at its base in Exeter.
The 100-seat venue is also for hire to professional companies and artists.
