Moreton-in-Marsh is just 15 miles south of Shakespeare’s birthplace of Stratford-upon-Avon. Stow-in-the-Wold is 4.4 miles south. The 801 bus connects the two places running up and down the Fosse Way (A429).

From Birmingham, the village is 50 miles (about 1 hour) south on the M40 and A429.

Cheltenham is 23 miles southwest on the A436 and A429. The journey time should be around 40 minutes. Oxford is also fairly close. It is about 50 minutes away on the A44. There are also trains from Oxford to Moreton-in-Marsh.
