The Flying Coach (formerly the Cock Hotel) is close to the Three Tunnes pub on the A6 in Hazel Grove, Stockport.
The Cock Hotel changed name in 2015
The pub was completely remodelled and renamed in 2015. It now serves both Stockport’s local beer Robinson’s (Old Tom, Trooper, Big Wave) and a range of international craft beers. Sour dough pizzas are served from noon until late.
Atmosphere
The pub has a friendly and intimate atmosphere. After the renovation the interior is more modern and light though many original features have been preserved.
The Flying Coach is on the A6 on the 192 bus route from Manchester and Stockport via Stepping Hill Hospital to Hazel Grove. The area is dominated by a large Sainsbury’s supermarket on the other side of the A6 and an Azda store opposite – just up from the pub.
