Fullers London Pride Beer
Fullers London Pride is one of London’s best beers. Any visitor to England’s capital city is bound to encounter a pint of London Pride on tap in one of London’s hundreds of pubs. The Admiralty in Trafalgar Square, the Andover Arms in Hammersmith, and the Antelope in Belgravia are just three of many.
History
The history of Fuller’s beer goes back to the 17th century and the time of Oliver Cromwell, though the present company dates from the mid-19th century in Chiswick, west London.
Fullers now brews a number of award-winning beers: London Pride, ESB, 1845, Chiswick Bitter as well as a selection of bottled brews and vintage ales. Asahi, the Japanese mega brewer now owns the company.
Fuller’s operates nearly 400 pubs, most of them in the south east of England in and around the capital.
