Bands
The venue has played host to a variety of bands and artists, including Amy Winehouse, Pete Doherty, Courtney Love and Frank Turner.
Amy Winehouse played a DJ set at The Monarch in 2008 which caused the pub to be overwhelmed with paparazzi and people hoping to squeeze inside for the show, despite the fact that Amy arrived to her own set two hours late.
The Monarch is located on Chalk Farm Road, near to Camden Market and Camden Lock, and easily accessible by bus and tube. It is a short walk from Chalk Farm and Camden Town underground stations and a similar distance from Kentish Town West and Camden Road overground stations.
