One Marylebone London
One Marylebone is an event and hire space in central London opposite Great Portland Street tube station at the southeast corner of Regent’s Park. The venue is available for hire for weddings, bar mitzvahs, and other events. Holding up to 800 people, One Marylebone is also suitable for smaller functions of around 100.
One Marylebone occupies a former church
History
The building is the former Holy Trinity Church. It was built in the Neo-Classical style between 1826-28 to a design by Sir John Soane. The church was commissioned to celebrate the defeat of Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.
Layout
The building is on two floors with the churchyard now a garden. The main Soane Hall is on the first floor with small rooms utilized as gallery space. Soane Hall is a beautiful space complete with a 27-foot high ceiling, mosaics, and stained glass windows.

The nearest tube station is Great Portland Street (Circle and Metropolitan lines). Baker Street (Bakerloo Line), Regent’s Park and Warren Street (Northern and Victoria lines) tube stations are also nearby.
Euston Station is also just a 15-minute walk to the east.

Frieze London takes place in nearby Regent’s Park in the late summer and early autumn. Also nearby are Madame Tussauds, the Wallace Collection, and the Sherlock Holmes Museum.
