The area around the station is largely residential. It is, however, convenient for a number of London’s green spaces, namely Drayton Green, Brent Valley Park and Hanwell Zoo. Hanwell Cemetery is also close as is the West London Islamic Centre. The Drayton Court Hotel nearby offers four-star lodgings. The Holiday Inn Express London – Ealing is a short walk south of the station.
