Ealing Broadway Station, Elizabeth Line

Ealing Broadway Station is an interchange station in Ealing, west London on the Elizabeth Line, and the District and Central lines of the London underground network. The first station here opened way back in 1838, known just as Ealing.

Elizabeth Line

The station is on the Elizabeth Line (previously Crossrail) between Abbey Wood in southeast London and Heathrow Terminal 4 and Heathrow Terminal 5. The station is in TravelCard Zone 3.

From Abbey Wood, the Elizabeth Line stations are Woolwich, Custom House, Canary Wharf, Whitechapel, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Tottenham Court Road, Bond Street, Paddington, Acton Main Line Station, Ealing Broadway, West Ealing, Hanwell, Southall, Hayes & Harlington, Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3, and Heathrow Terminal 4.

There are also approximately two trains an hour to Greenford operated by Great Western Railway.

Tube Lines

On the London underground, the station is one of three western termini of the District Line. It is also one of two western termini of the Central line, the next station heading east is West Acton. The Central Line operates a night service on Friday and Saturday nights as part of the Night Tube.

The area around the station a busy shopping and entertainment area. The Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre is a major retail hub, featuring a variety of shops (both high street stores and independent shops), restaurants, the Ealing Picturehouse cinema and cafes. The station is also convenient for Walpole Park and the Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery. To the southeast is more green space at Ealing Common. Ealing Town Hall is a short walk west on Uxbridge Road.

The ibis Styles London Ealing nearby offers three-star lodgings. The Hotel Xanadu on Bond Street is also just a short walk south of the station.

These are the E1 (from Clifton Road via Drayton Green to Ealing Broadway), E2, E7 (from Ruislip to Ealing Broadway), E8, E9, E10, E11 (from Clifton Road to Ealing Common), the 65, 112, 207 (Hayes Bypass to Shepherd’s Bush and White City), 226, 297 and also the 483 (from Three Bridges / Windmill Lane to Harrow Bus Station).
