Ordsall Hall and Ordsall Park are both within easy walking distance of the station. Ordsall Hall is a former manor house dating back to the 13th century. The oldest surviving parts date to the 15th century. The hall is a Grade I listed building and entry is free of charge. It is the oldest building in Salford.
