The Bath Half Marathon returns to the streets of Bath this March. The BATHALF will take place on Sunday, 16th March, 2025. It is one of the most popular and longest-running road races in the UK, attracting around 15,000 runners each year. Over 100 charities from across the UK support the participants.

Course

The course takes in many of the city’s historic attractions such as Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge. The race begins on Royal Avenue, in front of the Royal Crescent, and continues through Royal Victoria Park, heading down Marlborough Lane before turning right onto Upper Bristol Road. The two-lap course runs westward along Upper Bristol Road and Newbridge Road to the Twerton Fork, then loops back eastward along Lower Bristol Road to Churchill Bridge and up Green Park Road, finishing at Queen Square. The route takes in both banks of the River Avon.
