Devon Big Chill
The big chill affecting Devon and the rest of the UK shows no sign of abating just yet.
Schools in the south west region remain shut and road conditions show little sign of improving after fresh snow and more sub-zero temperatures. Disruption is as bad as February 2009, when the south west experienced similar wintry conditions.
The freezing conditions are playing havoc with the Devon economy as markets are closed and shoppers are wary to venture outside.
