The Arden Arms in Stockport is one of the best pubs in town with a growing reputation for its excellent food and fine beer.

The pub exterior

Located just off Stockport Precinct and close to Stockport Market and the Robinson’s Brewery Visitor’s Centre, the Arden Arms is a Grade II listed building which was previously a 19th century coaching inn.

Food

Lunch is served daily with an evening menu available Wednesday to Sunday. Landlords Steve King and Joe Quinn were responsible for turning around a pub in decline and transforming it into the award-winning gastropub it is today.

The Arden Arms is a gay-friendly pub, and prides itself on excellent service to all, that this reviewer can certainly confirm.

The Arden Arms serves Robinson’s beers and is listed in the national CAMRA guide. It is both child and dog-friendly.
