Hazel Grove Station, Stockport
Hazel Grove is a railway station on the Buxton to Stockport and Piccadilly Station Line.
The next stops travelling north towards Manchester are Woodsmoor followed by Davenport and then Stockport Station.
Travelling south towards Buxton the next stop is Middlewood (handy for the Middlewood Way), depending on the train service. Northern and East Midlands railways run services through the station. The station is staffed every day.
The first station in Hazel Grove dates from 1857 during the Victorian period.

There are buses from the car park to Glossop, Marple, and Stockport. Buses that call at the station are the 307 for Hazel Grove, Stepping Hill, Offerton, and Stockport, the 308 for Hazel Grove, Bramhall, Cheadle Hulme, Edgeley, and Stockport, the 374 for Hazel Grove, Davenport, Shaw Heath, and Stockport Station, the 391 and 392 stop at Hazel Grove on the route from Stockport to Heavily, Stepping Hill, Hazel Grove, Poynton, Middlewood, and Macclesfield.
Nearby
The station is close to the many pubs found on the A6 in the neighborhood including the Three Tunnes, the Flying Coach, the George and Dragon and The Anchor. It is also a short walk from the station to the pleasant Torkington Park.
Hazel Grove Baptist Church is just opposite the large car park. St Peter’s Catholic Church is also a short walk.
A slower means of travelling between Hazel Grove and Manchester is the 192 bus route along the A6 through Stockport and Levenshulme.
